Equine dentistry has seen many advances over recent years, with improvements in diagnostic capabilities, periodontal therapy and restorative dentistry. At Hambleton Equine Clinic we offer a whole host of dental services ranging from routine dental care to advanced dental surgery procedures.
Our dental team includes James Marshall who is working towards completing his Certificate of Advanced Dentistry. James along with surgical input from Phil Cramp, will carry out dental referrals.
Mark Thorne (BAEDT) joined our team in Autumn 2017 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and 30 years of experience in equine dentistry. Mark is based at Hambleton Equine Clinic every Monday and is out on the road with a vet (to administer sedation) every Wednesday.
Finally the Equine Dental Clinic, headed up by world renowned equine dental vet Chris Pearce (CertEM(IntMed) CertES(SoftTissue) BAEDT MRCVS) and colleague Nicole Du Toit (BVSc Cert EP MSc PhD DipEVDC DipAVDC MRCVS), have a regular presence at Hambleton Equine Clinic and offer a range of equine dental services including oroscopic examinations both oral and surgical dental extractions and occlusal restorations. They also offer endodontic therapy of incisors and cheek teeth, periodontal disease treatments, sinus surgeries and orthodontics both laser surgical and dental techniques.
